This will complement the sponsorship from commercial and individual sources associated with Rugby Canada's fundraising. The Foundation and Rugby Canada will collaborate to maximize fundraising efforts. By nature of its status, the Foundation cannot organize or conduct activities, and will in no way interfere with those executed by Rugby Canada.

As mentioned previously, the Foundation will only make grants to qualified recipients. Because Rugby Canada is a registered Canadian Amateur Athletic Association, it is eligible to receive funds from the Canadian Rugby Foundation.

In addition, the Foundation is a separate legal organization which does not affect the applications put in by Rugby Canada for government funding.
